This policy explains how QBFOX, LLC, doing business as Monte Cristo Gaming ("Monte Cristo Gaming," "we," "us"), collects, uses and shares information when you visit montecristogaming.com (the "Site"), sign up for our newsletter, contact us, or use our Apply tools. Monte Cristo Gaming is an applicant for an Illinois Gaming Board terminal operator license. The Site is intended for business owners and adults 21 and older.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on the Site we collect what you enter, which can include:
- Your name, title, business name, business address, email address and phone number.
- On the Apply tool: your answers to the terminal-count, game-mix, payout and term questions, an email verification code, your electronic signature on a non-binding Letter of Intent, and the date and time you submitted it.
- Newsletter (The VGT Wire) sign-ups: your email address.
- Anything you write to us in a message, scheduling request or referral.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, time zone, pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, the site that referred you, and approximate location derived from your IP address. When you submit the Apply tool, your IP address, time zone and browser/device details are recorded with your submission as an audit trail.
Cookies, pixels and advertising
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies (pixels and tags) to run the Site, measure traffic, and show our ads to people who have visited. These include:

These providers may combine information collected on the Site with other information they hold about you, under their own privacy policies. We do not send these advertising providers the names, email addresses or phone numbers you type into our forms.
Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can limit ad personalization at Google Ad Settings, in your Meta ad preferences and in your LinkedIn advertising settings, and you can opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. The Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
How we use information
- To respond to you, schedule meetings, and follow up about our services.
- To record and manage Letters of Intent and your place in line, and to offer you a Use Agreement if and when we are licensed.
- To send The VGT Wire and other updates you asked for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To measure and improve the Site and our marketing, including showing our ads to people who visited the Site.
- To keep records, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal and regulatory obligations, including requests from the Illinois Gaming Board.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run the Site and our business (such as website hosting, email, analytics and advertising providers), who may use it only to provide their services to us or as described in the cookie section above.
- With regulators, including the Illinois Gaming Board, law enforcement or others when required by law or to protect our rights.
- In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
- With your consent or at your direction.
Calls, texts and email
If you give us your phone number or email address, we may contact you about your inquiry, your Letter of Intent or our services. We will send marketing text messages only with your consent. You can opt out of marketing email by using the unsubscribe link, and out of text messages by replying STOP.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including to maintain records of Letters of Intent and business communications and to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and then delete or de-identify it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your requests
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to stop marketing to you, by contacting us below. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep information where the law requires it.
Age requirement
The Site is not intended for anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
